Tamarac Crime Update: String of Domestic Batteries, Auto Thefts, and Grand Theft Arrest

Through June 16, 2025, the Tamarac Broward County Sheriff’s Office responded to a number of events. The occurrences and arrests that local law enforcement dealt with during this time are described in detail below.

Events

On June 10, there were reports of battery after a lady allegedly hit her partner. Later that day, a man struck his mother, resulting in another battery. On June 11, 12, and 13, more battery cases—including those involving domestic violence—were reported.

On June 10, auto thefts were reported. Overnight, one car was stolen, while another was stolen from a parking lot.

One individual reported identity theft related to an auto loan, another reported a fake check cashed at Chase Bank for $1,000, and a third reported losing $300 after purchasing a laptop on Facebook Marketplace.

Throughout the week, there were reports of domestic disturbances (non-criminal), such as arguments between relatives, housemates, and former partners. There was no physical violence.

On June 13, a robbery by Sudden Snatching took place after a dispute between two friends got out of hand and one of them stole $500 from the other.

On June 13, there was a report of Aggravated Stalking, which involved a former employee sending abusive messages for five days.

Among the assaults were one in which a lady was threatened by her former employer at work, and another in which a boyfriend was arrested following an intensified verbal altercation.

A burning car on June 10th, a confused person in need of help, an open ATM door, a young person involved in a bicycle accident, and misplaced items like wallets and prescription drugs were among the information reported.

On June 11, there were reports of animal bites following a dog attack on another dog.

A verbal altercation at a gas station on June 12 resulted in a suspicious incident.

A Walgreens employee was suspected of stealing over $2,100 worth of items over the course of three months. At a 7-Eleven, a small item worth $4 was stolen in another theft.

Arrests

On June 10, 36-year-old Lenora Lashea Glover was taken into custody for domestic abuse.

On June 10, 32-year-old Giovani Mews was taken into custody for domestic abuse.

Kevin Costner’s Jephthe On June 10, Saint Jean, 24, was taken into custody for domestic abuse.

On June 11, 24-year-old Alexus Michelle Nowell was taken into custody for grand theft at Walgreens.

On June 11, Tyshelle Ovesha Miller, 25, was taken into custody for battery related to dating violence.

On June 11, 57-year-old Aliette Deshommes was taken into custody for violence.

On June 14, 34-year-old Fredis Noe Rivas Carcamo was taken into custody on a trespassing warrant.

On June 15, 36-year-old Shauna Kay Tiffany Dibben was taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On June 15, 25-year-old Tashanna Shara Stanley was taken into custody for violence.

On June 15, Zachary Fredrick Freeman, 41, was taken into custody for stalking in connection with dating violence.
