Through a drive-thru food distribution event, the City of Tamarac and Farm Share have teamed up to provide the community with much-needed food assistance.
The Caporella Aquatic & Wellness Center, situated at 9300 Northwest 58th Street, will host the event on Friday, June 27 starting at 9:00 a.m. Vehicles are asked to join the automobile line at 9400 Northwest and 58th Street in order to facilitate traffic flow.
As long as supplies last, the event will be first-come, first-served, according to organizers. Residents can call the city at (954) 597-3620 if they would want further information or would like to volunteer.
A nonprofit company called Farm Share strives to supply communities around Florida with wholesome meals and fresh fruit.
