Key largo, Florida.Authorities say a 26-year-old man from Bohemia, New York, struck another guy with a brick during a domestic argument, leading to his arrest Thursday night in Key Largo.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reports that Brian Thomas Gardner is charged with one crime of aggravated assault, one count of aggravated battery, and one count of criminal mischief.
After receiving a complaint regarding a disturbance, MCSO officers said that they arrived at a property on Ruby Drive at approximately 9:30 p.m.
According to authorities, the victim informed deputies that Gardner hit him with a brick after a dispute about Gardner’s alleged alcohol consumption.
According to deputies, Gardner also used the brick to smash a glass door.
According to them, the victim’s wounds were not life-threatening. The connection between Gardner and the victim was not revealed by investigators.
Gardner’s arraignment is scheduled for July 29 at 9 a.m. Information about his bond was not immediately available.
