The center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Andrea was situated close to latitude 38.7 North, longitude 45.2 West, around 1100 PM AST (0300 UTC). It is anticipated that the post-tropical cyclone will continue to move toward the east-northeast at a speed of about 20 mph (31 km/h) until the circulation opens up into a trough.

With stronger gusts, the maximum sustained winds had dropped to about 35 mph (55 km/h). It is anticipated that further weakening will occur and that the remaining low will transform into a trough.
