AtlantaJamal Musiala, a midfielder for Bayern Munich, suffered a serious injury to his left leg and had to leave Saturday’s Club World Cup quarterfinal match against Paris Saint-Germain.

After a 50/50 challenge with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma late in the first half, Musiala sustained an injury. The Mercedes Benz Stadium’s large displays did not play the replay of the horrific injury.

Musiala, 22, had three tournament goals going into Saturday’s game, one more than Golden Boot leaders Marcos Leonardo and Ngel Di Mara. He now has 20 goals this season, including 12 in the Bundesliga and 3 in the Champions League, thanks to his goals in the Club World Cup.

Shortly before halftime, Musiala had an injury. While the midfield player was being treated on the pitch, the referee blew the whistle to signal the break.
