Deputies want to speak with 2 girls after Walgreens bathroom set on fire in Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL. Investigators requested the public’s assistance on Thursday in identifying two females they believe may have been involved in the fire that was started earlier this year in a Walgreens restroom in southwest Miami-Dade.

The girls, who are thought to be teenagers, are accused of setting fire to a restroom at the Walgreens shop at 23201 SW 112th Ave, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

According to deputies, the incident occurred on April 19 just before ten in the morning.

According to authorities, the agency’s Arson Squad is investigating the crime and is currently attempting to locate the girls so they may talk to them.

Anyone with information or who knows who they are is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 or Deputy R. Merrill at the Organized Crimes Bureau at 305-994-1000.

For information that results in an arrest or arrests, a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered.
