After almost 69 years, WPLG-TV and ABC’s television network split up.

The second step is to remove the ABC program and replace it with a hyperlocal reflexive program on August 4.
Additionally, on August 4th, several transmission and de-transmission services stopped transmitting WPLG because it was no longer transmitting the ABC show.

Unfortunately, WPLG has been forced to stop providing ATSC 3.0 or Nextgen TV services on July 28.
