For the 63-game tournament, FIFA has implemented dynamic pricing.
The standard ticket price for the Paris Saint-Germain vs. Real Madrid semifinal on Wednesday in New Jersey is $199.60.
FIFA reduced the cost of tickets to $11.15 for the quarterfinal matches between Chelsea and Palmeiras in Philadelphia and Fluminense and Al Hilal in Orlando, Florida.
The Athletic was the first to report on the sharp price decline.
The attendance for many of the tournament’s contests has been low. The exception has been Real Madrid, which has attracted at least 60,000 spectators for each of its five games, including 76,611 for its victory against Borussia Dortmund in the quarterfinals on Saturday in New Jersey.
