Florida’s Miami-Dade County.In Miami-Dade County, a 62-year-old man is accused of offering a 7-year-old girl $6 in exchange for her silence on his sexual assault.
According to documents, a woman said she believed Phaisan Pongkiatsakun, a Thai-born resident of Virginia Gardens, had sexually assaulted the youngster in Miami Springs.
The arrest report from the Miami Springs Police Department states that the woman claimed to have seen Pongkiatsakun and the girl alone in a loft area at a company on Monday.
According to a police officer’s report, the girl told the woman and an investigator that Pongkiatsakun had caressed her, kissed her on the lips, and instructed her not to tell anyone.
According to jail records, Pongkiatsakun was under an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold on Tuesday afternoon when he arrived at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
A accusation of indecent and lascivious molestation was brought against Pongkiatsakun.
