Doral, Florida.According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, Daysnel Hernandez, 41, of Doral, is facing serious charges for allegedly raping and threatening a 28-year-old woman with a screwdriver on Thursday.
According to officials, it occurred at before 10:30 a.m. near the underpass at 777 NW 72nd Ave.
The woman claimed that Hernandez hit her in the back of the head with a big rock as she got out of her car in a neighboring parking lot, according to MDSO police.
Then, according to the authorities, he carried her to a remote location while covering her mouth and holding a screwdriver to her neck.
According to the allegation, Hernandez raped the victim while brandishing the screwdriver after repeatedly punching her as she tried to escape.
According to investigators, the victim pleaded with Hernandez to save her life.
According to them, the incident caused the victim to sustain several cuts, abrasions, and contusions throughout her body.
Hernandez reportedly left the area on foot in the direction of a neighboring parking lot, according to deputies.
They added that before MDSO took over the case, Hernandez was first arrested by officers from the Doral Police Department for an unrelated incident.
According to the report, he was informed of his Miranda rights, confessed to raping the victim, and confirmed her account.
Hernandez is charged with the following offenses and was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without incident, according to jail records:

Additionally, according to the records, he faces one count each of second-degree attempted murder and burglary with assault or battery in a separate case.
His bond is marked as to be set, and as of Saturday afternoon, he is still at TGK.
