Hello, Florida.According to authorities, a Medley man selected a vulnerable homeless woman and viciously raped her in his mobile home and a motel near Hialeah, seriously injuring her.

Yunior Pulido, 40, was taken into custody by Hialeah police on Monday on four criminal accusations after an investigation that lasted over a year.

According to the police, the woman called them two days after the rape, which took place on August 30, 2024, to report that she had been sexually attacked and was bleeding.

The woman informed police she had traveled from Arizona to be away from her divorced husband, according to an arrest record from the Hialeah Police Department.

She reportedly told detectives that at approximately 11:30 p.m., Pulido approached her as she was seated at a bus bench on Okeechobee Road close to West 29th Street. He introduced himself as Yunior and instructed her to call him “el burro,” which is Spanish for “donkey.”

The woman reportedly told detectives that Pulido wanted to help her and gave her a free place to sleep and take a shower.

According to the report, the woman consented because of her precarious state, and Pulido picked her up in his car.

The woman told police that Pulido had taken her to the Rainbow Inn Motel, which is located nearby at 2801 W. Okeechobee Road. According to the authorities, Pulido pretended to assist her with her possessions when he entered her room.

According to the report, after entering, (he) forced the victim into the bed, shut the door, undressed, and made threats about sex.

According to the police, he raped her and had her ingest crystal meth in spite of her cries for him to stop.

According to the report, Pulido grabbed the girl by the waist and pushed her into his car after her motel stay was over, telling her not to scream or else she would witness what would happen. The victim obeyed out of terror.

According to the authorities, he then brought her to his trailer at 8181 NW South River Drive, which is located across the canal at the Medley Mobile Home Park, where he sexually assaulted her once more.

After Pulido fell asleep and phoned the police, the woman managed to get away and return to the Rainbow Inn’s vicinity, according to the police.

The victim received a rape kit at the Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center in Miami, and hospital officials reported serious injuries from the attacks.

According to the police, the results were released on April 30.

According to the article, a review of Pulido’s records also showed that he currently drives the identical car the victim claimed to have seen him driving on the day of the incident. A picture of the defendant that day that matched his physical attributes was also taken by the victim.

According to the police, she was also able to recognize Pulido because of his obvious penile implant.

Pulido was taken into custody by Hialeah police on Monday at his residence on suspicion of violence, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and sexual battery.

Inquiring as to whether he may be charged with any further crimes for the alleged attack at his trailer, Local 10 News reached out to the Medley Police Department on Tuesday. He was consulting with the agency’s detectives, according to a spokeswoman.

Ahead of a pre-trial detention hearing, Pulido was being held without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as of Tuesday.
