FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. Police in Fort Lauderdale confirmed that a man was shot and killed early Monday morning.
After receiving a ShotSpotter alert and a call regarding gunfire in the vicinity, Fort Lauderdale police said they arrived at the 1000 block of Park Drive at around two in the morning.
Responding cops discovered a male who had been shot, according to the police. At the scene, he was declared dead.
Information about the shooter was not immediately available to the police.
According to them, authorities are looking into what happened before the shooting and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
