MIAMIDetectives were looking into the injuries sustained by a woman in Little Havana, Miami, on Friday night.
After 6:10 p.m., Little Havana police officers and firefighters arrived at the intersection of Southwest Seventh Street and 19 Avenue.
The woman may have been injured by a projectile, according to the Miami Police Department, and was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital by fire rescue.
Investigations were underway into the occurrence. To remain anonymous, detectives asked anybody with information regarding this or other incidents to contact Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
